 Card 13 Started as an experimental project in 1998 with the purpose of exploring the occult matters of music. Early songs were composed after trances, sleep deprivation, pagan/satanic rituals, and many other practices known only to a select few. Often Card 13 pushed the available technology to its limits creating songs that cannot be reproduced under any normal circumstances.
After a brief hiatus during which he worked with other bands Card 13 emerged again in 2005 with a passion for noise that had developed throughout the years. Taking up the mantle with other noise musicians in Qui Art Card 13 began to develop techniques applicable for use in his solo work.
Recently Card 13 has come full circle, exploring occult motifs in noise music with spoken word. Demonstrated with his 2010 release "Those Who Sleep Beneath The Ashes" we see a return to the dark roots while still growing new branches.
The name Card 13 comes from the 13th trump card of the modern Tarot deck.
